It was a wet winters day when Karen & Simon tied the knot, but the rain and drizzle could not melt the smiles or the general buzz of happiness and love between the bride and groom and the whole family. First of all, I met the boys in the pub who were happily warming up the ceremonials and in high spirits, laughing and joking between them and attaching their corsages to their lapels. After a short while we crossed the road to where the ceremony was held, at Poole Register Office. Here, we all gathered to watch Karen float elegantly down the aisle in her fantastic fishtail ivory dress. The vowels were said with tears in their eyes and in all of those around them, even me! As we all left the registery office the skies opened and we all dashed with a flurry of umbrellas and jackets through tthe old town of Poole to the reception. The bride and groom were grinning ear to ear as they darted down the lanes and over puddles, they were the epitome of love and happiness. The reception was held at Hotel Du Vin, Poole and they had prepared a lovely room for this special couple and their guests to celebrate in and they did just that!
